Foot "Problem"

So last Thursday night my foot starting hurting really bad, by Saturday I felt like crying every time I stepped on it. So weird. I noticed though that when I walked on my toes (ball of foot) the pain was gone. So yesterday I thought I'd try wearing heels since it felt better to walk on my toes. PAIN FREE. So my foot hurts when I walk flat, but feels fine in heels.

Isn't that so weird?! I think this is a good problem. :)

Do you have a high arch in your foot?

I so had this problem last summer! My foot started hurting so I assumed it was FROM the heels and started wearing flats. It got so bad that I almost fell several times when I was working out. I finally went to a foot surgeon that was recommended to me who did lots of x-rays. He said he could do surgery, but the simplest solution was just to wear heels-that puts the pressure on the balls of the feet instead of in the ankle portion. Who knew? I went straight to the mall! Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Hope you feel better soon!

I had a similar problem with my calves hurting when I started wearing only flat shoes since being preggers. Funny huh?

Sounds like you need toe shoes and ballet lessons. I bet Katie can give you the name of a teacher!

Mini-you just got some wedge shoes with about a 2-2 1/2" heel at a garage sale the other day & thinks she's the queen. Oh, wait, she already thought that. ha, ha!

michelle, i don't think i have a high arch, but i don't really know. i do have super narrow feet and only wear a size 6 1/2.

but you know how big this church is, we have to walk a mile just to go to the bathroom or turn in a facilities request. maybe i can get some workers comp out of this injury. ;)
